At clever bees nursery it is our passion to build the foundations for life long learning from the very beginning.

We strive to ensure that all children receive high quality education and care within a safe, exciting and inclusive setting.

Bumble Bees (0-2 Years) - is a warm & welcoming environment where babies and toddlers can start their early years adventure.

Blueberry Bees/Honey Bees (2-3 Years) - here children are provided with a variety of activities to enhance their learning and are introduced into risky play to help negotiate risks.

Buzzing Bees (3-5 Years) - children are getting ready for big school. Children are provided with challenging activities and learn basic life skills.

At clever bees nursery we are passionate about providing children with a healthy diet, regular physical activity and good hygiene routines including teeth brushing daily.

Learning Journeys

Key Person

Here at Clever Bees Nursery each child is assigned a key person who has responsibilities for a small group of children, they are there to help the child feel safe and secure.

The Key person will respond to a child's needs, help them settle into the setting and support & encourage them to develop to their full potential.

The key person will engage with parents and carers and be the main point of contact for their key group. All children will also have a secondary key worker.

EYFS Framework

At clever bees nursery we design our curriculum based on the early years foundation framework. We recognise each child as an individual and deliver our curriculum through developmentally appropriate play based activities, adult Interaction and a strong embedded routine.

Each key person will plan and observe their key children using the EYFS framework to build a journey for each individual child.

Learning Journeys

We use the online learning journey "Tapestry", each child has a profile set up and parents and carers are invited to join.

This is where all your child's observation will be along with photos and videos. As a parent or carer, you can add your own photos, videos and observations from home.

We encourage all parents to do this, so we can work together to build an accurate and full learning journey for your child.

Free Funded Sessions

Clever Bees Nursery are happy to offer free funded hours to all eligible 2, 3 & 4 year olds.
